ABSTRACT. The following is an exploration Kazantzakis’s masterpiece entitled The Odyssey: a modern sequel. In it one can find Kazantzakis’s philosophy at its best, as a challenge to surpass all ontological categories – a philosophy of eternal “beyonding.”
