This paper is a brief reflection on Jean-Luc Godard’s Film Socialisme pitched as a “pedagogy of the image” that draws on the philosophy of cinema and draws on the activities of the great film directors who are the experimenters and also engage in fierce critique of Holywood’s commodification of the image. pp. 42–47
