ATHLETIC MORALITY AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR

ABSTRACT. Considerable research attention has focused on athletes’ social lives, the increasing economic exploitation of sports, the insidious ways in which money has perverted sports, and the moral reform of sports. Our paper contributes to the literature by providing evidence on the moral downfall of sports, the moral status of present-day sports, the social setting of contemporary sports, and moral sensibilities regarding sports. pp. 150–155
