THE SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY OF LEADERSHIP

ABSTRACT. The aim of the present study is to examine and evaluate the connection between empowering leadership and creativity, the central role of positivity in enhancing human wellbeing and performance at work, psychological and neurological markers of LSC, and the positive effects of employee psychological capital on performance. The paper generates insights about the role of psychological empowerment in facilitating creativity, the impact of positive leadership on group and organizational level performance, the nature and outcomes of LSC, and the role that leaders can play in directing employee attention to effective processes for achieving creativity. pp. 64–69
