ABSTRACT. The purpose of this paper will be to supply a brief overview of Wittgenstein’s philosophical views on music. The theory that we shall seek to elaborate here puts considerable emphasis on the concept of musical expression, and on music as a means of emphasizing the role of ‘feeling’ in proper understanding. pp. 156–161
