MEDIATING COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTANDING GLOBAL JOURNALISM

MEDIATING COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTANDING GLOBAL JOURNALISM

ABSTRACT. Hobart argues that it is forms of popular culture and mass media which occupy most peoples' time and attention in many parts of the world. Kelly writes that the media is far more interested in tactics than covering policy because it's easier for journalists. Ettema and Glaser hold that investigative journalists are not the guardians of some superior moral knowledge. Lloyd claims that the problems of journalism are, at base, philosophical problems.
