THE HISTORICAL FOUNDATIONS OF EUROPEAN PRIVATE LAW

ABSTRACT. Considerable research attention has focused on the interaction between private international law and civil procedure, the discourse of European private law, the doctrinal, normative and conceptual shape of European private law, and the normative foundations of private law.
