WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (WEEE) MANAGEMENT IN EUROPE

ABSTRACT. In this paper I am particularly interested in exploring the relationships among the agents that constitute waste management systems, the potential adverse health and environmental consequences of incorrect handling and treatment of WEEE, and the logistics of setting up and running a national WEEE management system. The findings of this study have implications for the development of the WEEE management system in Spain, the benefits of EEE to the society, and the potential effects of WEEE on health and environment. pp. 119–125
