The science of the interiority and the quantification of the self. The approach of orthodox theology and neurosciences to inner life in the age of technology supremacy

ABSTRACT. In this research paper, we aim to formulate some considerations regarding a possible meeting point of the approaches to the inner life, as specified in the philocalic spirituality, and most recent ones, in the area of neuro¬sciences, adding some final remarks regarding some novel aspects in the technical sphere, i.e. the use of digital devices for monitoring physiological parameters.
