ABSTRACT. Despite the relevance of smartphone use disorder, only limited research has been conducted on this topic. Using and replicating data from Forrester, Insights West & iamota, KDM Engineering, MarketingCharts, Pew Research Center, and YouGov, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding behavioral dynamics of depression and social anxiety in relation to smartphone addiction. The results of a study based on data collected from 3,800 respondents provide support for my research model. Using the structural equation modeling, we gathered and analyzed data through a self-administrated questionnaire.
