Big Data-driven Smart Cities: Internet of Things Devices and Environmentally Sustainable Urban Development

ABSTRACT. The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on big data-driven smart cities. Using and replicating data from BDO, CompTIA, Deloitte, ISC, KPMG, Nutter Consulting, PTI, SSC, and USDN, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding Internet of Things devices and environmentally sustainable urban development. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
