ABSTRACT. The purpose of this paper will be to supply a brief overview of the function of the majority of conventional language forms, the meaningfulness of human behavior, the content of an Intentional state, and the successful performance of an intentional action. The mainstay of the paper is formed by an analysis of the relationship between meaning and truth, the essential informativeness of language, the manipulation of mental symbols, and the functions of language conventions. pp. 175–180
