Conservation on an exceptional book Izvoade de crestături ale țăranului român, published in Bucharest in 1928

ABSTRACT. This paper deals with the conservation interventions carried out on a volume of traditional wood ornament patterns created and used by Romanian peasants. This is a significant work for the Romanian material cultural heritage, being carried out by Alexandru Tzigara Samurcaș (an illustrious representative of Romanian museology in the 20th century) and published in 1928.
