ABSTRACT. This article reviews and advances existing literature concerning the relationship between sensory algorithmic devices, intrusive workplace monitoring, and employee surveillance. Using and replicating data from Bright & Company, Corporate Research Forum, Deloitte, HR Tech World, IBM, McKinsey, Top Employers Institute, and US Bureau of Labor Statistics, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding contributors to success with data and analytics. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
